The Beta Sigma chapter devotes our service to Autism Speaks. It is our mission to raise funds and awareness on our campus. Our chapter hosts events throughout the school year, in hopes that we make a difference for those effected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Xi Man: Xi man is a campus favorite that brings in a big crowd. It is a male pageant that features talent, swimwear, and question portions. While the talent and swimwear categories are hilarious, the question portion is why we do it. All questions are on the subject of Autism. We encourage the contestants to look up facts beforehand, in hopes that they become more knowledgeable and aware of the disorder.
Xi Saw: Xi Saw is an event we hold where sisters seesaw for 24 hours straight. Each sister take shifts but the Xi saw is never left alone. Most college campuses do not have seesaws, so it brings a lot of attention. It is a great and fun way to raise awareness!
Football Frenxi: This year, our chapter will be hosting a flag football tournament. It is a great way to involve the whole campus and raise money for Autism Speaks.
Beta Sigma has many other fundraisers throughout the school year, these are just a few favorites!
